My experience has been that the DAC Hats need to be enabled. This is a bit of a process, but I’ve documented it in this post: https://howtohifi.com/how-to-innomaker-rpi-hifi-dac-hat-headless-raspberry-pi/

Since you’re using a HIFIBERRY DIGI2 PRO, you’ll need to make a small adjustment: The difference for you might be in Step 3 – Rather than using the Allo Boss overlay, you’ll probably want to use the HiFiBerry -digi overlay

So replace this:

dtoverlay=allo-boss-dac-pcm512x-audio

With this:

dtoverlay=hifiberry-digi-pro

And then again, on various steps, you’ll be looking for HiFiBerry rather than Allo.
