I am wondering if I can still use my Pi and DAC Hat as an AirPlay endpoint though? For the times I’m not running Plexamp.

That’s a good question, actually. You can still use the Pi as an airplay endpoint, but it will require some more set up. I’ll work out a guide for that and publish soon.
